Joliet and Plainfield police apprehended two 19-year-old suspects in a home invasion that turned violent Sunday morning.

A criminal complaint alleged a property manager for the Housing Authority of Joliet accepted rent payments from tenants but failed to remit that money to the housing authority last year.

The longtime owner of Terrace Inn Lounge in Joliet closed the bar at the end of 2025 to spend more time with his family.
