State liquor authorities in 2020 cited “serious and persistent problems” with behavior at Taylor’s Bar & Grill in revoking its license. It is estimated that Eugene needs an additional 26,000 new homes by the mid-2040s, most especially affordable homes. Luckily, Floral Hill Terrace plans to build 40 affordable housing units in the Laurel Hill neighborhood, some priced as low as $199,000. The only problem? Organized opposition by a subcommittee of the neighborhood association Laurel Hill Valley Citizens.
