Hinds County deputy is shot to death in Jackson, sheriff says
A 32-year-old Hinds County sheriff’s deputy was shot to death Sunday in Jackson, and his death is being investigated as a homicide. Sgt. James Dotson Jr. had worked at the county jail in Raymond.
