Bedford City Council approved a 15-year tax incentive to help Hikma Pharmaceuticals USA LLC expand its Bedford operations. The agreement is expected to bring more than 300 jobs and a $25 million annual payroll while allowing the city to continue collecting an estimated $500,000 a year in income tax revenue. The incentive also includes taxpayer protections through a claw back provision if the company fails to meet its commitments.
