Lizzie Goff was dishing out saves to all the big Sycamore arms as usual. But she got a head start on her spring sport, soccer, with a big kick-save in the middle of a third-set run in which nothing could go wrong for the Spartans. Sycamore beat Kaneland 18-25, 26-24, 25-19.

The Interstate 8 boys golf tournament got postponed due to wet conditions on Monday, but Tuesday proved to be even rainier. Ottawa senior Bryer Harris held off Kaneland's Dylan Pjesky for the individual title but the Knights won the team crown with Sycamore second.
