Submit your podcast everywhere
Every Everlit playlist can be published as a full podcast feed. This guide walks you through getting your show live on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, and iHeartRadio — and explains what Everlit automates before, during, and after. Start with Apple: it's the one submission that also unlocks most of the wider podcast ecosystem.
Overview
When you activate distribution for a playlist, Everlit serves an industry-standard RSS feed at:
https://creator.everlit.audio/feeds/lists/<your-playlist-id>The feed carries complete Apple Podcasts metadata (artwork, categories, episode art, durations, explicit flags) plus modern Podcasting 2.0 tags, and updates the moment your playlist changes. You submit that one URL to Apple; Everlit handles everything else:
Readiness checks
We run the same validations Apple does — artwork size and format, categories, required metadata, episode audio — and show you a checklist before you submit.
Automatic status detection
Once Apple lists your show, Everlit detects it and updates your distribution status with the Apple Podcasts link — no need to report back.
Instant update notifications
New episodes are announced to podcast apps within minutes via industry update systems (Podping, WebSub), instead of waiting for apps to poll.
Feed health monitoring
We continuously check that your live feed serves valid, fresh XML and that your episode audio is reachable, and alert on problems before your audience notices.
Before you start
In Studio, open Distribution, choose your playlist, and click Activate Feed. Everlit pre-fills your feed's metadata from the playlist and shows a readiness checklist. Apple requires all of the following:

Submit to Apple Podcasts
1. Copy your feed URL
From the Distribution page, copy your activated feed URL.
2. Sign in to Apple Podcasts Connect
Go to podcastsconnect.apple.com
and sign in with an Apple ID. Any free Apple ID works — we recommend creating one owned
by your organization (e.g. podcasts@yourcompany.com) rather than a personal account,
since this account controls the show on Apple.
3. Add your show
Click the + button, choose Add a show with an RSS feed, and paste your Everlit feed URL.
4. Let Apple validate the feed
Apple reads the feed and flags any problems. If your Everlit readiness checklist was green, this step passes; if Apple flags something, the same item will appear in your checklist with a fix-it link.
5. Submit for review
Apple reviews new shows before listing them — typically within 24–72 hours. You don't need to do anything during the wait.
6. Everlit detects the rest
When the show goes live, Everlit automatically detects the listing, records your Apple Podcasts URL, and flips the platform status in your Distribution dashboard. Apps that source their catalogs from Apple (including Overcast and many others) will list your show automatically within a day or two.
Submit to Spotify
Spotify is the fastest major platform — shows are usually live within hours.
1. Sign in to Spotify for Creators
Go to podcasters.spotify.com and sign in with a Spotify account (free is fine; use an organization-owned account).
2. Add your show
Choose Add your podcast, select the option for a show hosted elsewhere, and paste your Everlit feed URL.
3. Verify ownership
Spotify emails a verification code to your feed's owner address. If your feed uses an Everlit-managed address, the code appears directly in your Spotify setup wizard on the Distribution page — enter it and continue.
4. Fill in show details and submit
Confirm country, language, and category (pre-filled from your feed) and submit. Spotify lists most shows within a few hours; new episodes then appear automatically.
Submit to Amazon Music & Audible
1. Sign in to Amazon Music for Podcasters
Go to podcasters.amazon.com and sign in with an Amazon account.
2. Add or claim your podcast
Choose Add or claim your podcast and paste your Everlit feed URL. One submission covers both Amazon Music and Audible.
3. Verify ownership
Amazon emails a verification code to your feed's owner address — with an Everlit-managed address, the code appears in your Amazon setup wizard within moments of Amazon sending it.
4. Accept the agreement and submit
Review Amazon's content agreement and submit. Shows are typically live within a day.
Submit to YouTube Music
YouTube ingests your RSS feed and automatically creates a video for each episode using your show artwork, published to a channel you control.
1. Open YouTube Studio
Sign in to studio.youtube.com with the Google account that owns (or should own) your channel.
2. Create a podcast from your RSS feed
Click Create → New podcast → Submit RSS feed, accept the RSS Ingestion terms, and paste your Everlit feed URL.
3. Verify ownership
YouTube emails a verification code to your feed's owner address — with an Everlit-managed address it appears in your YouTube setup wizard. Enter it in Studio.
4. Choose episodes and publish
Pick which existing episodes to import (or all), then publish. New episodes upload to your channel automatically as they appear in the feed. Note: RSS ingestion is available in select regions.
Submit to iHeartRadio
1. Open the iHeart submission form
Go to podcasters.iheart.com. Submissions are accepted from the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and New Zealand.
2. Submit your feed
Fill in the form with your Everlit feed URL and contact details. iHeart reviews and lists shows within a few days; no ownership-verification step is required.
Everywhere else — automatic
Most remaining podcast apps don't need a submission at all:

After your show is live
You never re-submit anything. New audio in your playlist appears as new episodes automatically; Everlit notifies podcast apps within minutes of a change. Artwork, description, and category edits in Feed Settings flow through on Apple's next crawl. Reordering or curating your playlist reorders the feed in real time.
Download analytics for your feed — including per-app and per-device breakdowns using IAB-compliant measurement — are available in your Distribution dashboard.
Troubleshooting

| "Can't read your feed" | Confirm the feed is activated (deactivated feeds return 404) and the URL was pasted exactly. Your feed's live health status is on the Distribution page. |
| "Feed has no episodes" | Your playlist has no published audio yet. Add at least one published story with completed audio, then re-validate. |
| Verification email requested | Some platforms email a confirmation code to your feed's owner address. Codes sent to Everlit-managed addresses appear directly in your platform setup wizard. |
